Raven-Symoné Clarifies 'African American' Remarks That Have 'Haunted Me Since 2014'


The actress reflects on her viral comments about race from her 2014 'Oprah: Where Are They Now?' interview.

Confessing that the conversation "has haunted me since 2014," Raven tells her wife on their podcast, "There was so much backlash from my community and others that misunderstood slash didn't hear the exact words that I said." I also understand how much blood, sweat and tears they've soaked into this earth in order to create the America that I live in today: free, happy, tax-paying American citizen," she continues.
