Rapper Yella Beezy arrested and charged with hiring hitman to kill Mo3 amid rap beef

Rapper Yella Beezy, best known for his breakout hit That's On Me, has been arrested in connection with the 2020 shooting death of fellow rapper Mo3. MO3 was gunned down on a Dallas highway in 2020.

The 33-year-old artist born Markies Conway – who has collaborated with top names in hip-hop such as Chris Brown, Ty Dolla Sign, and Lil Baby – was taken into custody Thursday afternoon and booked into the Dallas County Jail after a warrant was issued for his arrest, according to court records, per TMZ. According to the indictment, Beezy was charged with 'capital murder while remuneration,' alleging that he 'intentionally and knowingly' participated in Noble's killing by hiring Kewon White to carry out the hit in exchange for payment. At the time of the shooting, police reported that a suspect, later identified as White, exited a dark sedan armed with a gun and approached MO3, who had gotten out of his car and attempted to flee.
