The rapper reportedly died Thursday (September 5) in his Atlanta home, according to his family and a rep for the Fulton County morgue who spoke with TMZ. Born Dequantes Lamar, Rich Homie Quan started his career in Atlanta's hip-hop scene, gaining early attention for his mixtapes. His collaboration with fellow rapper Young Thug on the "Rich Gang: Tha Tour Part 1" mixtape solidified his place in mainstream rap, creating anthems that remain iconic to this day.
