Rapper Lil Durk Facing Life in Prison After Additional Charges in Murder-for-Hire Plot
Rapper Lil Durk was arrested and charged in connection with a murder-for-hire plot.
The rapper, whose real name is Durk Banks, was arrested in Florida while five members of the hip-hop crew, Only the Family, were detained in California. Among those arrested in Durk’s crew include Kavon London Grant, Deandre Dontrell Wilson, Keith Jones, David Brian Lindsey, and Asa Houston. Durk, 32, is a key figurehead in the Chicago drill music scene, which has spawned numerous rap stars including Chief Keef, Lil Reese and G Herbo.
