Rapper dies at 32 after being rushed to hospital following a gunshot wound
Rapper OG Maco, best known for the viral hit U Guessed It, has died at the age of 32, with his family paying tribute to his "resilience, creativity, and boundless love"
According to reports by TMZ, OG Maco, whose real name was Benedict Chiajulam Ihesiba Jr, sadly died last night (Thursday, December 26) surrounded by his loved ones in a Los Angeles hospital. In 2016, he survived a near-fatal car crash that left him with multiple skull fractures, cracked vertebrae, a broken orbital, heart palpitations, and nearly cost him his right eye. Maco was part of XXL magazine's 2015 Freshman Class and founded the hip hop collective OGG, where he discovered then-unknown producer OG Parker.
