Randy White, husband of country star Lorrie Morgan, died from mouth cancer on June 1. He was 72.

White, who was diagnosed with mouth cancer in 2024, died in the early morning hours of Sunday, June 1, per a statement shared with PEOPLE from Morgan’s friend and manager, Tony Conway. Morgan’s son, country singer Jesse Keith Whitley, shared a tribute to White on Facebook. Morgan was previously married to country music singer Keith Whitley from 1986 until his death from alcohol poisoning in 1989 at the age of 34.
