Randal Malone dead at 66: Actor who played a 'film star' on 1990s MTV dating game show Singled Out passes away after kidney disease battle


Randal Malone, who appeared in numerous low-budget movies and played a 'film star' on the 1990s MTV dating game show Singled Out, has died at age 66.

The Kentucky native's family announced that he died on Sunday at Valley Presbyterian Hospital in the Van Nuys area of Los Angeles after a lengthy battle with kidney disease, according to an article on Wednesday by The Hollywood Reporter. Malone was born in Owensboro, Kentucky, on May 29, 1958, and became interested in show business after his car racer father introduced him to El Paso singer Marty Robbins and country legend Patsy Cline along with other performers visiting a racetrack. His credits include: The Triggerman (1997), Vampire Femmes (1999), Hollywood Mortuary (2000), The Crawling Brain (2002), Charlie's Death Wish (2005), Creepies 2 (2006), Psychon Invaders (2006), Dahmver vs Gacy (2010), Frankenstein Rising (2010), The Amazing Bulk (2012) and Rat Scratch Fever (2011).
