Ramy Youssef Desperately Wants to Be a History-Making Host in New ‘SNL’ Promo

The comedian was really, really, really hoping to be a history-making host in his hilarious new promo.

“I’m honored to be the first Arab host of Saturday Night Live,” he says in the clip, to which cast member Kenan Thompson noted is not the case. That’s what diversity is,” Youssef inspirationally noted, before ultimately concluding that he’s the first-ever Egyptian host named Ramy from New Jersey. Watch the promo below, Saturday Night Live with Youssef as the host and Travis Scott as the musical guest on Saturday (March 30) at 11:30 ET on NBC, before the episode begins streaming on Peacock.
