“He is amazing and fun to work with,” del Toro added in the aforementioned tweet, which came in response to Fangoria celebrating Ralph Ineson as a “ modern day horror icon.” Jacob Elordi will be playing Frankenstein’s monster in Guillermo del Toro’s adaptation of the classic Mary Shelley novel, alongside Mia Goth, Christoph Waltz, and Oscar Isaac. The first film introduced a mythology wherein the wealthy Le Domas family has made a deal with the devil, one that requires them to take part in bizarre – and deadly – wedding night traditions.
