Ralph Fiennes Recalls Maggie Smith's 'Lethal Sense of Humor' During a Pivotal Harry Potter Scene: 'One of Our Great Greats'

Ralph Fiennes remembered the "lethal sense of humor" of his 'Harry Potter' costar Maggie Smith, who died in September. Fiennes portrayed Voldemort in the film franchise.

She won two Oscars, for The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie and California Suite, and was a four-time Emmy winner, including three wins for Downton Abbey. Sandra Bullock, who starred in Divine Secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood with the actress, told PEOPLE, “How lucky am I to have sat in quiet corners with Maggie and a glass of wine. Her stories, her wicked sense of humor and her gentle advice are all things that have made my life sweeter.”
