Radio star Carrie Bickmore makes honest mental health confession after sparking concern with confronting red-faced and teary-eyed image

Carrie Bickmore has made a candid confession after sharing an alarming photo to social media.

'I started taking antidepressants for the first time in my entire life and not that I had anything against them but I had been able to manage before but it got to the point where I realised I can't do it on my own anymore and I need a helping hand.' Carrie shared the confronting photo to her Instagram earlier this month alongside the caption which explained she had sent the image to a friend recently after she had a terrible day. Real Housewives of Sydney star Sally Obermeder, The Bachelor's Anna Heinrich and comedian Merrick Watts also offered support.
