The mother of two, spoke about losing her child while weighing in on the criticism of the portrayal of childbirth and loss in her Amazon series, Dead Ringers, in which she played twin gynaecologists. She told hosts Emily Maitlis and Jon Sopel of the reaction to the scenes, which involved women going through miscarriages and footage of live births: 'I think I probably was surprised because I was just telling this story about the female experience, and it didn't seem to have been like heightened or over-dramatised.
