Rachel McAdams Circling Sam Raimi’s Horror-Thriller ‘Send Help’
Rachel McAdams is in talks to star in Sam Raimi's 'Send Help,' the horror-thriller from 20th Century Studios, which he is producing and directing.
Billed as a two-hander horror-thriller set on an island, the story is somewhere between Rob Reiner’s Stephen King adaptation Miser y and Robert Zemeckis’ classic Castaway. A preeminent multi-hyphenate, Raimi is known as an influential genre producer and filmmaker, directing pics like the Evil Dead franchise and Spider-Man trilogy starring Tobey Maguire. The Oscar-nominated McAdams’ oeuvre spans over two decades and numerous genres: She is best known for her star-making portrayals in Mean Girls, The Notebook, About Time, Disobedience, Spotlight, Game Night and Are You There God?
