Rachael Lillis, 'Pokémon' Voice Actor, Dead at 46


Rachel Lillis voiced the 'Pokémon' characters of Misty and Jessie in the animated series based on a video game.

Rachael Lillis, the talented voice actor known for her roles in several English-dubbed Pokémon films and television series, died on Saturday, Aug. 10 after a courageous battle with breast cancer. Lillis brought to life Misty, the fiery gym leader; Jessie, one half of the mischievous Team Rocket duo; and Jigglypuff, the adorable yet formidable singing Pokémon. Veronica Taylor, who voiced the lead character Ash Ketchum in the Pokémon series, paid tribute to her friend and co-star in a heartfelt post on X.
