Quiver Distribution Buys North American Rights to ‘Don’t Turn Out the Lights’ From ‘She’s the Man’ Director Andy Fickman (EXCLUSIVE)

Quiver Distribution buys North American rights to 'Don't Turn Out the Lights' from 'Race to Witch Mountain' and 'She's the Man' director Andy Fickman

Quiver Distribution acquired North American rights to Andy Fickman’s “Don’t Turn Out the Lights.” The film follows a group of friends on a road trip who realize something terrifying and unworldly is threatening their lives. Fickman is the filmmaker behind “Race to Witch Mountain,” “Parental Guidance,” “The Game Plan” and “She’s the Man.” He is also currently directing the “Wizards of Waverly Place” reboot for Disney, starring Selena Gomez and David Henrie, on which he is also an executive producer. “It’s hard to believe that ‘Don’t Turn Out the Lights’ is inspired by a real-life encounter, but we are glad that Andy Fickman made it out in one piece to be able to tell this chilling story,” said Berry Meyerowitz and Jeff Sackman, co-presidents of Quiver.
