Elizabeth Banks' medical drama 'A Mistake' has locked in a release date with Quiver Distribution, which has acquired North American rights.
Written and directed by Christine Jeffs, the filmmaker behind titles like Sunshine Cleaning and Sylvia, A Mistake is based on the 2019 novel by Carl Shuker. The story delves into the perilous aftermath of a split-second medical decision from surgeon Elizabeth Taylor (Banks), unfolding a thrilling exploration of the fatal ripple effects triggered by a single human error. Larry Greenberg represented Quiver Distribution in the deal for rights to A Mistake, with Cornerstone and UTA Independent Film Group negotiating on behalf of the filmmakers.
