The family of Quincy Jones held a private funeral for the music producer in Los Angeles.

Quincy Jones was laid to rest in a private ceremony in Los Angeles a week following his death. Jones died on Nov. 3 after a seven-decade career that included producing Michael Jackson’s Off the Wall, Thriller, and Bad albums. The estate of Michael Jackson called him “a legendary talent whose contributions to music spanned generations and genres,” and pointed out, “It was Quincy’s role as a father that was the most important to him.”
