Questlove Announces Earth, Wind & Fire Documentary on the 21st of September

It's the 21st of September, and to celebrate, Questlove announced that his next documentary will focus on Earth, Wind & Fire.

Questlove ’s documentary about Sly Stone hasn’t hit screens yet, but the Roots drummer knows which artist he will next fix his cameras on: Earth, Wind & Fire. Earth, Wind & Fire’s Verdine White, Philip Bailey and Ralph Johnson are all on board with the project, as the trio added in a statement ( via Variety), “We look forward to this in-depth journey of our band, and are so excited to have Questlove directing the documentary.” Earlier this year, Questlove gave a progress report on his long-in-the-works Sly Stone doc, noting that Hulu acquired the film, but that it didn’t have a premiere date yet.
