Quentin Tarantino, Paul Mescal and Rita Moreno were honored at the fourth annual Academy Museum Gala in Los Angeles.
The fourth annual Academy Museum Gala, which honored Quentin Tarantino, Paul Mescal and Rita Moreno, raised $11 million on Saturday night. The evening’s program included John Travolta presenting the Luminary Award to Tarantino, who went onto to announce that he was donating his first handwritten draft of the script for “Pulp Fiction”to the museum. The evening closed with Ariana Grande introducing her “Wicked” co-star Cynthia Erivo, who performed a four-song set that included “Somewhere Over the Rainbow” from “The Wizard of Oz.”
