Queen's cutting response after royal said Corgis should be shot


The late Queen Elizabeth II's love of the breed was well-known and she even once called them 'my family' - so when a royal made a joke about them, the monarch had a cutting remark

The late Queen was famous for many reasons, from her impressive reign to her vibrant wardrobe and the fact that she owned more than 30 corgis in her lifetime. The former monarch was given her first corgi named Dookie at the tender age of seven and even brought her most famous dog, Susan, with her on her honeymoon in 1947. And she's reading the menu, she had her spectacles on and she put it back and she looked at me, gave me a beautiful smile and said 'I think the dogs get better fed'."
