Queen's 'second daughter' who shares favourite passion with Kate Middleton and Prince George
There are very few people who can claim to have enjoyed a deeply close bond with Queen Elizabeth II - but her niece, Lady Sarah Chatto, tops the list. As Princess Margaret's daughter, Lady Sarah was "adored" by her aunt and spent countless hours at Buckingham Palace during her childhood.
The then-Prince of Wales spoke fondly of his hobby on a display panel, stating that painting "refreshes parts of the soul which other activities can't reach". The Princess of Wales has showcased her own artistic flair a number of times over the years, whether it’s by taking her children’s birthday portrait photographs, or when one of her drawings was featured on her sister Pippa’s order of service when she married James Matthews in 2017. A love of the arts is something which runs deep for Kate as she is the patron of the National Portrait Gallery and the Victoria and Albert Museum - as well as many other important cultural sites.
