Queen Elizabeth's hilarious comment about baby Prince Charles is revealed in unearthed letter
A letter written by the Queen shortly after the birth of her first son Prince Charles has now been sold at auction and in it, she makes a sweet remark about the newborn's appearance
The late Queen once expressed her envy over the then Prince Charles' lack of hair as a baby in a letter to a friend, which has recently been auctioned off. In the letter, dated April 22, 1949, addressed to "Richard", the Queen playfully revealed her jealousy over his nephew's 'luxurious' head of hair that she had seen in a photograph. Originating from a private collection, the letter was snapped up for £5,700, fees included, at International Autograph Auctions in Malaga, Spain.
