Queen Camilla to 'pause' royal duties amid King Charles' cancer diagnosis

Queen Camilla is reportedly taking a short break from royal duties after filling in for her husband, King Charles III amid his recent cancer diagnosis and treatments

For example, The Princess Royal will represent her family at His Majesty's Prison / Young Offenders Institute in Buckinghamshire on 5 March while the Duke of Edinburgh will visit Freewheelers Theatre at The Lighthouse in Leatherhead a day later. Princess Anne will be filling in for Camilla while she takes over a week off (Image: PA) King Charles III announced his diagnosis on 5 February, after it was detected following treatment for an enlarged prostate in January. He described how it's "equally heartening" to hear how sharing his own illness has "helped promote public understanding and shine a light on the work of all those organisations which support cancer patients and their families across the UK and wider world."
