Queen Camilla forced to pull out of engagement following health concern
The Queen's health has been under the spotlight in recent weeks as she battles a chest infection with the monarch forced to cancel a series of engagements
The Queen has been fighting a chest infection for weeks, and it made her withdraw from the Remembrance Sunday ceremony and the Royal Variety Performance in November. King Charles and Queen Camilla regularly attend public events as a pair (Image: Getty Images)When she was unable to attend the performance, a spokesperson for the Palace said: "Following a recent chest infection, The Queen continues to experience some lingering post-viral symptoms, as a result of which doctors have advised that, after a busy week of engagements, Her Majesty should prioritise sufficient rest. Catherine, the Princess of Wales, who has faced her own major health problems this year, said: "Love is the light that can shine bright, even in our darkest times."
