Publishing Briefs: Andrea Bocelli Signs to UMPG, Dua Lipa’s Radical22 Inks With WCM
Dua Lipa, Andrea Bocelli and more music publishing deals this week, including Tinashe, Drake producer Anthoine Walters and Dasha co-writer Cheyenna.
1916 Enterprises has jointly signed producer Anthoine Walters(Drake, Post Malone, Brent Faiyaz) to a publishing deal with Heavy Duty. Bella Figura was launched in 2023 and has purchased a number of catalogs in the last six months, including those of Jeff Silverman (Adele, Aloe Blacc, Lee Fields) and Adrian Wright of The Human League. A writer for some of country’s biggest hitmakers — including Morgan Wallen, Bailey Zimmerman, Jason Aldean, Florida Georgia Line, Tim McGraw, Jake Owen, Justin Moore, High Valley and Ronnie Dunn — Stennis has been with the publisher for the last 10 years.
