Prue Leith finally addresses why she and husband John Playfair didn't live together after marriage

Ahead of the release of her new show, Prue Leith has opened up about her marriage to husband John Playfair, including the reason behind their decision not to live together until now

We know her best for offering up her expert critique on The Great British Bake Off alongside co-host Paul Hollywood, but away from our screens Prue Leith leaves a far more private life, with her husband John Playfair. However in a recent appearance on Good Morning Britain, Prue, 84, finally clued viewers in on why the couple made the decision to maintain separate homes despite their eight year long marriage - and it actually makes perfect sense. The couple have finally combined their households into one stunning Cotswolds property (Image: Ken McKay/ITV/REX/Shutterstock)As well as having taken the plunge to live together, John will also be making an appearance in Prue’s new show, something which lead her to cheekily admit she worried would see him look better in front of the camera than her!
