Prosecutors Claim Diddy Was 'on the Hunt' for Cassie After 'Freak Off,' and Blackmailed Her with Sex Video

The highly anticipated trial for Sean "Diddy" Combs on a slew of sex crime allegations began on Monday, May 12

Prosecutors alleged during opening statements that at the "freak off" sex parties that Combs organized, he video recorded sexual encounters he forced upon his victims, including Ventura, later using the tapes to blackmail her. Combs was arrested in September 2024 based on an indictment filed by the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York, months after a lawsuit by Ventura set off a wave of allegations against him. The indictment accused Combs of using his music empire to manipulate and lure women with promises of romance and then force them, using threats and coercion, to participate in highly orchestrated sex-acts at so-called “Freak Off” parties, which sometimes lasted several days.
