Producer Patrick Sobelman & Gaumont Exec Ariane Toscan du Plantier To Head Up France's César Academy
Sobelman was previously vice-president of the César Academy alongside outgoing president Véronique Cayla. The president and vice-president, the members of the executive Academy Office, who assist them in their work, as well as the heads of the 22 professionals chapters were voted on by the 176 members of the general assembly of the Association for the Promotion of Cinema, the umbrella body overseeing Cesar Academy. The Cesar Academy also unveiled the 44 newly elected representatives of the 22 professional chapters within the APC.
