Producer Andrew Form Signs First Look Deal With Sony Pictures’ Screen Gems (EXCLUSIVE)


Veteran producer Andrew Form has signed a producing deal with Sony Pictures’ Screen Gems.

Along with Michael Bay and Brad Fuller, Form co-founded Platinum Dunes, which was behind hits including “The Purge” franchise, which has earned $550 million worldwide, the “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” franchise, reboots of “Texas Chainsaw Massacre,” “Nightmare on Elm Street,” “Friday the 13th” and “The Amityville Horror” and the adaptation “Ouija.” Form recently produced the feature film “If” alongside John Krasinski, Ryan Reynolds and Allyson Seeger. Form credits Screen Gems president Ashley Brucks with catalyzing the new deal, citing their “unbelievable working relationship” collaborating on the “Quiet Place” franchise. He has amazing versatility in developing high quality, commercial and fun genre films like ‘A Quiet Place,’ ‘The Purge’ and ‘Texas Chainsaw Massacre,’ which makes him the perfect complement to our team at Screen Gems.
