Pro-Palestinian Protesters Briefly Halt Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade

NYPD officers quickly broke up the protest.

A small group of protesters who held Palestinian flags and anti-genocide posters briefly halted this year’s Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York. During last year’s parade, a member of the Mashpee Wampanoag Tribe of Massachusetts float also held up a Palestinian flag. Israel’s military offensive in Gaza, however, continues where at least 44,330 people have been killed and 104,933 wounded, according to the Palestinian Ministry of Health.
