Pritish Nandy Dies: Indian Producer, Filmmaker & Journalist Was 73
Pritesh Nandy, Indian film producer who made titles like 'Sur' and 'Kaante,' has passed away at the age of 73.
Born in 1951 in Bihar, he produced many films such as Bollywood Calling, Sur, Kaante, Chameli and Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi, among others. Nandy also produced comedy-drama Four More Shots Please!, which won an International Emmy nomination in 2020, and romantic anthology series Modern Love Mumbai for Prime Video. Many Bollywood stars paid their tribute online to Nandy, including Indian director Sudhir Mishra, actor Sanjay Dutt, and actor-director Anupam Kher.
