Her career entered a new stage in the 1970s, when she became a familiar face on television, guesting on crime dramas such as McCloud, Adam-12, The Rockford Files, Kojak, Cannon, Police Woman, Barnaby Jones and Mrs. Columbo. She is survived by daughters Amy and Katie, the latter of whom contributed songs to Carrie; son David; her son-in-law, documentarian Kenneth Bowser; and eight grandchildren, including actor Gabriel Barreto, who posted his own tribute on X.
