The Princess of Wales has extended her apologies to the Irish Guards as she's forced to miss the Colonel's Review today

Kate wrote: “I wanted to write to you to let you know how proud I am of the entire regiment ahead of the Colonel’s Review and Trooping the Colour. “I appreciate everyone Trooping the Colour this year has been practicing for months and dedicating many hours to ensure their uniforms and drill are immaculate.” Kate told the Irish Guards of her pride over being their Colonel (Credit: Splash News) The Trooping the Colour ceremony takes place next Saturday (June 15).
