Kensington Palace has issued a rare update to Princess Kate's health condition.
She was admitted to the hospital in January for what was termed “planned abdominal surgery,” and given a recovery timeline that would keep her from official duties until Easter. It’s a situation exacerbated by King Charles’s cancer diagnosis and Prince Williams recent absence from some royal duties. At the time of the surgery announcement, Kensington Palace said it will “only provide updates on Her Royal Highness’ progress when there is significant new information to share.”
