A photo agency has now declared that a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II surrounded by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, which was taken by Princess Catherine and released by Kensington Palace on Instagram in April 2023 to honor the late monarch on what would have been her 97th birthday, was, in fact, photoshopped!! The only reason this has been spotted now is because Kate Middleton admitted to editing a family portrait earlier this month after photo agencies sent out a “kill notice” on a snapshot of her and her kids. Kensington Palace is no longer a trusted source for many news outlets, and the controversy has caused many companies to take a deeper look at the content they’ve accepted from the royals in the past.
