Princess Anne’s Accident: Rushed to Hospital After Severe Head Injury

Princess Anne suffered an accident while tending to the horses on her royal estate. She's now recovering in hospital with a head inury.

“The Princess Royal has sustained minor injuries and concussion following an incident on the Gatcombe Park estate yesterday evening,” Buckingham Palace said in a statement Monday. The monarch “joins the whole Royal Family in sending his fondest love and well-wishes to The Princess for a speedy recovery,” the statement from Buckingham Palace added. Princess Anne’s husband, Sir Timothy Laurence, as well as her daughter Zara Tindall and son Peter Phillips, were all on the estate at the time of the incident.
