Princess Anne's 'thinly-veiled dig' thought to be squarely aimed at Harry and Meghan
Princess Anne has given a rare interview in which she discussed the future of the monarchy and appeared to take a thinly-veiled dig at Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle
Despite her brother, King Charles, supporting the proposal, she told Canadian broadcaster CBC back in May 2023 that the suggestion was made when there were "a few more people around". When asked about the changing world, Anne responded that it didn't "sound like a good idea", and when questioned if there are "conversations about relevance", she replied: "There will be, everywhere.
