Prince's sister dead - with her son announcing the heartbreaking news
Tyka Nelson, the sister of famous musician Prince, has sadly died at the age of 64, eight years after the tragic death of the music icon, her son President Nelson confirmed
After missing her New York show due to illness, Tyka opened up to the Minnesota Star Tribune, stating, “I really wasn't a singer. Tyka died aged 64 (Image: Paul Bruinooge/Patrick McMullan via Getty Images)Earlier in June, Tyka reminisced on her final times with Prince, mentioning their last chat on the phone happened merely four days before he was tragically found dead in his Paisley Park Studios abode. And whilst contemplating a memoir on her life and lineage shared with Prince, Tyka made it clear she had been oblivious to any health struggles he might have faced, although she did observe his alarming weight loss during what would become their final meeting.
