Prince William's sad six-word statement about Kate Middleton at emotional D-Day event

Prince William attended an event marking the 80th anniversary of D-Day with his father King Charles and Queen Camilla and made a poignant remark about his wife, Kate Middleton

Earlier, the Prince of Wales honoured the "bravery of those who crossed this sea to liberate Europe" and their loved ones awaiting their return as he recited a poignant diary entry from a D-Day soldier during the 80th-anniversary commemorations. William, as the heir to the throne, was the focal point at the national event in Portsmouth that paid homage to the momentous Normandy landings of 1944, which marked a pivotal victory for the allies in World War II. King Charles also delivered remarks at the ceremony, commending the "truly collective effort" of the wartime Home Front and expressing that Britain remains "eternally" grateful to those who served.
