Prince William and Kate Middleton's wedding was watched by millions of people around the world and the future king made a cheeky comment to his father-in-law on the big day
The quip was made to Michael Middleton on the fateful day of the couple's wedding over 13 years ago, with Kate's dad playing a key role in the ceremony by walking his daughter down the aisle. Ahead of the wedding, which was watched by millions on TV and had 1900 guests in Westminster Abbey, Kate Middleton was well known to be very close with her parents Carole and Michael, as well as her siblings Pippa and James. The beautiful gown, came complete with a nine-foot train and four embroidered emblems representing the UK: the English rose, the Scottish thistle, the Welsh daffodil, and the Irish shamrock.
