Prince William says he 'refuses to give up' or 'succumb to despair' in heartfelt statement
The Prince of Wales has issued a bold new statement calling for fighting to end “as soon as possible” in the Israel-Hamas war, as he says "we must not succumb to the counsel of despair"
The personal statement begins: “I remain deeply concerned about the terrible human cost of the conflict in the Middle East since the Hamas terrorist attack on October 7. As well as the bold call to action, Prince William is to carry out visits this month that will "recognise the human suffering" of conflicts in Gaza, Israel and the Middle East.
