“It was devastating for him,” royal author Robert Jobson told Us Weekly exclusively of William, 42, while promoting his new book, Catherine, the Princess of Wales, which was released earlier this month. Princess Kate Middleton made an unexpected but very welcome return to public duties alongside her husband, Prince William, on October 10, when the couple visited the town of Southport to show support following the July 29 attack on three children. Though she is set to attend the National Service of Remembrance ceremony in London on Sunday, November 10, the Princess of Wales did not accompany her husband on his trip to South Africa.
