The Prince of Wales has greeted US President-elect Donald Trump in Paris as the two met for the first time since the former businessman's election in 2016
The Prince of Wales made the journey to the French capital for the ceremonial reopening of Notre Dame cathedral, which suffered a devastating fire back in 2019. William is set to chat with America’s outgoing first lady Jill Biden at the ceremony before meeting Mr Trump again at another location in Paris. )The reopening of Notre Dame included the ritualised opening of the cathedral’s massive doors, the reawakening of its thunderous organ and the celebration of the first Mass.
