Prince William Does Not Attend Memorial Service for Late Godfather Due to Personal Reason, Source Says
Sources shed some light on Prince William's absence at his godfather's thanksgiving service.
On Tuesday, several royals stepped out at St George's Chapel in Windsor, England, in honor of the last king of Greece, who died in Athens in January 2023 at the age of 82. A royal source tells ET that "unfortunately the Prince of Wales is no longer able to attend the King Constantine memorial service this morning due to a personal matter." However, William, who is said to be taking on more royal duties amid his father's diagnosis, was more recently seen carrying out an engagement at the British Red Cross headquarters in London on Feb. 20.
