But a Kensington Palace spokesperson has already come out of the woodwork to confirm William’s absence was “due to a personal matter” while insisting the Princess of Wales is “doing well,” Today reported. While King Charles III has been staying at the estate amid his cancer battle and was seen on the property earlier in the day, he reportedly left in the morning and was not present for the service. While the 75-year-old is continuing to stay out of the spotlight amid the medical treatment, he did resume in-person responsibilities last week by meeting with the British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak at Buckingham Palace, but we guess this visit with the Greek royals just wasn’t a priority.
