It has been revealed that The Prince and Princess of Wales will miss the annual Christmas lunch at Buckingham Palace today (Thursday, 19 December) as they are already in Norfolk and are gearing up for the festive period. King Charles has hosted his last two festive gatherings at Windsor Castle, but this year the venue has been moved back to Buckingham Palace - a favourite spot of the late Queen Elizabeth.
