Prince William and Kate Middleton send heartfelt message to families of Southport knife attack tragedy


The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have sent their thoughts and prayers to the families of the children who were killed in a knife attack in Southport, as two children lost their lives

Taking to Twitter, William and Kate conveyed their deep sympathy: "As parents, we cannot begin to imagine what the families, friends and loved ones of those killed and injured in Southport today are going through. Their compassionate comments come after King Charles III expressed his dismay, declaring on the Royal Family's digital channels: "We have been profoundly shocked to hear of the utterly horrific incident in Southport today", as reported by the Mirror. In a statement that touched the heart, she revealed her personal connection to the tragedy: "As a mum of two daughters, and the nanna of a five-year-old grand-daughter, I cannot begin to imagine the pain and suffering the families of the victims are currently going through, and I want to send them our heartfelt condolences and sympathies."
