The royal couple's anniversary comes months after Kate Middleton's cancer diagnosis.

The ceremony was attended by William's grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II, his father, King Charles, his brother, Prince Harry, Kate's sister, Pippa Middleton, and several other family members. While it is custom for the couple to hold engagements on their big day, this year it will look different as Kate has remained away from the public eye while undergoing preventative chemotherapy treatment.
