Prince William and Kate Middleton broke from tradition with their youngest son Prince Louis’ official birthday photo

Louis, who turns 7 on Wednesday, April 23, can be seen flashing a toothy grin in the photo, taken by photographer Josh Shinner and released on the Prince and Princess of Wales’ social media accounts. The new image marks a break in tradition for William, 42, and Kate, 43, who release new photos of Louis, Prince George, 11, and Princess Charlotte, 9, every year for their birthdays. The Prince and Princess of Wales will mark their 14th wedding anniversary on April 29 with a two-day trip to Scotland, the country where they met as students at the University of St Andrews.
