His insights are particularly timely as he suggests in an updated edition of his biography of King Charles that there's palpable concern over potential "serious legal jeopardy" if any reconciliation with Harry were to occur. Since stepping back from Royal duties, which resulted in the loss of his official police protection, Harry has been entangled in legal disputes with the Home Office to have his security detail reinstated for himself, Meghan, and their children. The advisor is thought to be referencing a passage from Prince Harry's memoir Spare, where he recalls being informed of the Queen Mother's passing while at Eton, when in fact he was on a skiing trip with his father and brother.
